End of Season Top 2023 TXHSFB Recruits to Know

Discover some of our top senior recruits that are some of the best that Texas high school football has to offer.

Below are some of our top senior recruits that have yet to commit. These athletes all have an interest in programs from around the country and offers from schools like Colorado State, Duke, Tulane, and others.

Here are our top 2023 Recruits to Know:

Mason Shorb (23′)| 6-2/175| QB | Rouse

Recently reopened recruiting. Committed to UTSA before, Shorb is a prototype quarterback with average size and frame for a QB but a guy who can sling the football. Delivers nice touch throws with good velocity and from a sidewinder position. Works the pocket beautifully, can hitch up in the pocket, keeps their eyes downfield, and can buy time or pick up first downs with his legs.

Patrick Burke(23′) |6-3/190 | QB | Episcopal School of Dallas
Patrick is a hidden gem out of Dallas. Whoever picks up this guy is getting a who can hurt defenses with his legs or arm. Whoever gets Burke is getting a field general who can move the football downfield and consistently put the football in the endzone. Despite the lack of mass in Patrick’s frame that we would like him to be at, Burke has a lot of room to add more mass to his frame at the next level. He checks off all the boxes you could want out of a quarterback at the FBS level.

JT Fayard(23′) |6-5/215 | QB | Foster
JT has been phenomenal this season. He has offers and interests from schools like Northwestern State (offer), Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, and others. JT has the prototypical size and arm that you want out of a QB. Has great pedigree and great character. JT is an FBS caliber prospect who has quick striking ability featuring his quick release and velocity on all throws.

Bryce Fucik (23′) |6-2/195 | QB | Strake Jesuit
Bryce showed significant improvement this season and has been playing lights out. Pairs his athleticism with one of the stronger arms/True dual threat with the necessary tools as a passer and runner.

Damian Neveaux jr.(23′) |5-11 /200 | LB,DB,ATH |Katy
Damian is a hybrid defensive linebacker who has racked up plenty of tackles, TFLs, and sacks this season playing in the box or floated in coverage. Holds much interest from top programs around the country like Duke, TCU, UofH, and others.

Jaylon Tarlton (23′) |5’11/180 |QB | Grace Prep Academy
Jaylon is a dual threat whose athleticism bears out both throwing and running the football. Dangerous on the run and makes plays on designed carries and when improvising. Projects to have the ability to play many different positions at the next level because of his pure athleticism and skills.

Jacob Smith(23′) |6./175 | QB | Legacy SSS
Despite the lack of the prototypical size, I really love the way Jacob can throw the football. Doesn’t have to set his feet to deliver a strike downfield and can have an elite ability to find the endzone. Really throws the football as well as any QB in his class. An FBS caliber prospect who can develop into a star at the next level.

Scout Brazael (23′)|6-2/185 | WR | Academy
Scout is a big lengthy receiver with an athletic frame. A dual sport athlete who can win those 50/50 balls and can stop on a dime. Scout flashes elite body control in his routes and catches the football. He can adjust at different angles to catch passes that are behind him and has the ability to get over the top of corners quickly and into the endzone. Any college program would be lucky to grab such a late-season steal like Scout who is without a doubt an FBS caliber prospect.
